So how do I spend my days lately? Most people go to work.... Not me. Well as of mid-July. After 4 faithful years as a Countrywide employee, my time there has ended. I always wanted to quit, but realized that I had such a cake job that paid me good and let me work whenever was convenient for me. Well me, and a few others close to me were a part of a big lay off (due to the BofA merge/slow economy) ITS OKAY. I was frustrated for a while, but now I have a lot of interviews that are promising and I still teach dance and do choreography for people sometimes. So it's a good change. So what if money is tight for a while? Me and Michael are happy eating trail mix and Ramen for dinner. Hahahahaha jk (not really)
ON A LIGHTER NOTE...
My Birthday festivities were quite excellent this year. I had the pre-birthday even with Jessi at the Paramore concer (which was so good I cant get over it...obviously) Then on Thursday Michael's grandparents took us out to dinner, then Friday my girlfriends had a little "Calli's BDay/Sarah's Graduation/Emily's Homecoming party" which was filled with lots of candy, Jaime's famous cake, random yet hilarious stories about dogs and their ability to entice and terrify humans all at the same time, and Dance Dance Revolution (my new favorite workout regimen). Saturday was filled with pedicures, Goodwill Shopping, and THE MEXICAN FIESTA.
Courtesy of Goodwill, Kelsey and I came up with these ensembles. Kelsey is more Hawaiian, and I am more African Pokahantas. But hey, we look good, you can't deny. Ole!!!
