HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY!!!
Shalene and Jim and Michael and I went up to Thatcher this weekend to get away from the Mesa heat. We drove up Friday night, ate at grandpa Overstreet's restaurant, and then sat on the back porch until we went to bed. On Saturday, we woke up and drove to the cabin that is up on the mountain. Nowdays people's cabins are more like houses in the woods, this was an actual cabin...
We did lots of this...This was the location that we were supposed to see rad fireworks, instead we just saw a rad view.
Michael and his beloved cheetos...Jim and I jammed a little with our guitars, Shalene and Michael providing excellent singing

We shot pop cans, water bottles, and targets. I am a pretty good shot, but Jim did win the target contest. I wish I had the picture of Shalene. For some reason a pregnant lady aiming with a gun is very funny! I do have this on though! Oh Maximillion!! We went on a mini hike, but had to be careful so that Shalene didn't go into labor on us at the cabin.
We had intentions of making a scary movie. We had the plot and most of the dialouge. I then realized that there was no spotlight on my camera and I only had 3 minutes of battery left. So we will take another trip up there to make our award-winning film.

Those two men you were standing next to in Fry's freak Shandraya out. She always has to do a double take thinking that they are real. I should get a picture of them with her she would love it.
