Michael and I went to the Dominican Republic in 2007 for our one year anniversary. It was absolutely amazing! When I think of paradise, I see myself lying on the sand in the shade with the waves crashing in the background and the faint sound of the tropical music, the sun is warm, but the cool breeze makes it perfect, I have pina coladas coming at my beacon call, and I am on a tiny piece of land in the middle of the ocean away from work, school, studios, church callings, dishes, laundry, and driving. Really I could go on... but I wont torture you...
Well we decided since Michael is doing summer school and I am teaching all summer and then babies may be coming in the near future, this is our last chance to take a totally rad vacation out of the country. We are off to the DR once again. This time we are taking Shalene and Jim along. We got a great deal for 4 and they decided the DR was way cooler than a cruise. (I agree, even though I've never been on a cruise, but I know nothing can top the DR)
Anyway I'm counting down...

How fun! I heard it is gorgeous. That is where Jared's brother Jesse is on his mission. So if you happen to see an Elder Westergard be sure to say hi!

I hope Shalene doesn't have any complications while she is in the DR. That would be the worst place to have them. Sounds really fun though.
How fun! I am so jealous! Take as many vacations as you can before you start having kids! We are in need of a baby moon before our little guy arrives!
