Update from the blog slacker

Our Anniversary...
Thanks to everyone that wished us a happy anniversary. It is crazy that we've been married for 4 years. Now we're just trying to make Oliver, but he's taking a long time... I guess it's time to REALLY try. As for our celebration, we went to dinner and Claim Jumpers (tradition) and then to Yogurtland. Michael gave me flowers (I'm still convinced they were more for the garden, but I appreciate a man who can kill 2 birds with one stone especially since I'm not a "flowers" person). We had a nice time.

The Bake-Off...

Was a HUGE success!! We had around 27 entries and we gave away 4 $100 prizes along with a few kitchen accessories like cute muffin pans. This is a picture of me and Jenna with the judges of the competition. We had a bunch of great activities going on there like a massage chair girl  doing $1 massages. A raffle for a bunch gift cards and prizes, a pampered chef doing cooking demos, a baker's quiz (the top scoring person won a prize, and there was also lunch and a TON of amazing baked goods to sample and try. The winners were so pleased, and the contestants had a lot of fun! If you would like to order a Summertime Bake-Off 2010 cookbook, just e-mail me!!

SEWING...
I have turned into quite the seamstress lately. The blanket on the left was one I made for Kelsey's little girl, Acey. She is so precious and this blanket was not an easy task so I hope she loves it!! The one on the right is baby pink (not peach like it looks) with a paisley demask imprint. I'm not sure what precious little girl will get that one??!!! I have also sewn 2 swim suits, a skirt, a baby dress and have "revamped" several dresses and shirts to bring them back into the "wear" section of my closet... Thanks mom for helping me with everything!
MONDAY NIGHT DANCE...
This is the dance that I truly love to teach! I have been having HUGE crowds and we have been doing hip hop all summer so far. It feels so good to teach people that WANT to be there and know how to just let go and have fun, because then I get to have fun too. I get to be me and teach "my style" and I love every Monday night!! Thanks to all my homies that come to class, You Rock!
Twilight Saga Continues... The pictures say it all...

Wow..

JULY 4TH...

First I'd like to thank Michael for color coordinating with holidays with me. I've always been a nerd like that, so thank you! Michael and I had a great holiday. We went to an early movie, which I highly recommend, and then we went to lunch with Jim and Shalene and Max. Then did a little shop shop and then headed off to family BBQ. I think I swam everyday/night of that weekend and didn't wash my hair once. I'm gross, but I don't care :) Oh while we were at the mall we managed to see the cross dresser parade doing their awesome dance moves to the lovely sound of 70's music playing on a boom box. Now you know that we were at Fiesta Mall!!
FIREWORKS!!!!! (less cool every year)
Congrats to Brandon and Gabby on their engagement!! (yes I took their pics!)

AND NOW MY FRIENDS... WE ARE OFF TO...
